The #1 question on all our minds right now – have you got the COVID vaccine yet?

Want to register for the vaccine but don’t know how? Visit our blog to learn how to register and find out what COVID vaccines are being administered in India.

With the revised COVID guidelines going live today (21 June 2021), everyone over 18 is now eligible to get the vaccine for free at a government facility (The Times of India).

While the new guidelines do not require you to pre-register for the vaccine (English Jagran), it is still advised that you do so before going to get the shot.

You can also get the vaccine at a private health facility, but not free of cost. The government has capped the maximum price a private hospital can change for Covishield at ₹780, for Covaxin at ₹1,410, and Sputnik V at ₹1,145, according to a Union Health Ministry order released on 8 June 2021 (The Hindu).

Don’t forget – registration and vaccine bookings can be done on the CoWIN website or the Aarogya Setu app (Android and iOS). The CoWIN app is for vaccine centres to upload data to the government servers.
